               Elvis Presley was born on January 8th, 1935, In Tupelo Mississippi. He came from a depressing family and life and grew up to become a famous rock "n" roll legend. Before the 1950's He was already broadcasting on television, radio and the silver screen. During Presley's young life growing up he was surrounded by his loving family and friends with little amount of money and his family frequently moving from place to place. Presley was raised with a strong faith in god and grew up to church and gospel music which was the start of his music career.
                Elvis had acquired his first guitar when he was only 10 years old. Soon after that he won a talent show at Humes High School in Memphis.e later graduated in 1953 pursuing his music career as well as a number of jobs. His first producer at the Sun Studio Sam Philips, The record land owner, decided to take him under his wing. Then later after producing with Sam his first single came out in 1954 the his "Thats all right." That next year he had signed with RCA Records with a man named Colonel Tom Parker. At such a young age his music career began to escalate with his next big hit "Heart breaker Hotel." Elvis got so cought up in the fam he began singing in a movie in 1956.
             In 1957 Presley got his draft notice and was inducted into the army that March. He served in Germany for a year or so and then left for Europe. As he was their his loving mother had passed away and Presley was granted a leave and returned to Memphis for his mothers funeral. He later returned to Germany and he was granted a gift when he came upon a young lady named Priscilla Beaulieu. They soon married in 1967 and gave life to a young girl named Lisa Marie who gave herself a future career in music. His life gave a tole when he and his wife divorced in 1973 and lost custody of Lisa. Later after that he began his perscription drug addiction which he was hospitalized for drug-related health problems.

            Presley life began to grow again soon got his first T.V. special in 1968, Referred to as the "68 Comeback." When the morning of August 16, 1977,  came around when he was only at age 42, he had died of heart failure which was related to his drug addiction. He was buried on the Graceland  Property near the grave sites of his mother as well as father Vernon and grandmother Minnie Mae Hood.
